Heating a big space
Whether the space is a large industrial unit, a warehouse or a small workshop, the question is the same: how do you get heat where the people and the work are without paying to warm the roof. Radiant tube heaters answer it one way, by heating objects and people in the immediate area rather than the air in the building.
We install the full range: radiant tube heating, warm air units floor standing or suspended at height to keep your floor area free, and warm air distributed through ducting. Systems can be zoned so different areas run at different temperatures, and pre-set to start heating at whatever point of the day or night suits the shift pattern.
In tall buildings, destratification units bring the warm air back down and even it out across the floor, and they can be controlled independently of the heaters themselves.

Thermal imaging survey
A site survey at a local factory, using our own thermal imaging equipment, found a 12°C difference between the temperature at high level and the temperature down at the working floor. The heaters were running longer than they needed to, because the room thermostat was waiting for warm air that had already risen out of reach.
We calculated the number of destratification fan units needed to move that air back down, and fitted them. The differential came down to 4°C, the heaters run for shorter periods, and the running cost and the carbon that goes with it came down with them.

How we work
We visit the building, survey what is there and scope the work with you.
