Gas pipework

Tested, purged, proved

Commercial gas pipework is the part of a building that has to be right before anything else can run, and the part that carries the consequences if it is not. Volume, pressure, the route the pipe takes and the way it is proved on completion are all governed, and the work has to be carried out by someone holding the competency for the size of installation in front of them.

That competency is TPCP1: tightness testing, strength testing and purging on installation pipework exceeding 1m³ in volume and at pressures up to 16 bar. It is an advanced commercial and industrial gas qualification, and it is the reason we can take on pipework that a domestic registration does not cover.

We install, fabricate, commission and decommission, so a job does not get handed between trades halfway through. The pipework is fabricated to suit the route rather than forced along it, proved before it is charged, and documented on handover.
